暴風雪
In summer, we experience hurricanes.
夏天會刮颶風。
When a hurricane comes, winds blow strongly and it rains a lot.
颶風來臨時，會伴有強風和大雨。
So, what happens if we have a hurricane in winter?

It is called a blizzard.

When a blizzard comes, the temperature is very low, winds blow strongly with heavy snow.

In the United States, north-eastern areas such as New York, Massachusetts or Connecticut experience blizzards a lot.
