Oh that men would praise the Lord' for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!
哦，人們將謳歌耶和華的美德，謳歌你憐惜幼弱生命的溫柔與悲憫！
They that go down to the sea in ships, that do business in great waters;
孩子們劃著小船奔向大海，他們在經濟大潮中不斷沉浮，
these see the works of the Lord, and his wonders in the deep.
他們親眼目睹耶和華的萬能，你的超然力量。
For he commandeth, and raiseth the stormy wind, which lifteth up the waves thereof.
你翻云覆雨的手，才能攪起漫天的暴雨狂飆。
They mount up to the heaven; they go down again to the depths; their soul is melted because of trouble;
孩子們在扭曲翻滾，倏忽升到半空，倏忽墜落溝壑，他們的靈魂得以熔煉。
they reel to and fro, and stagger like a drunken man, and are at their wit's end.
他們眩暈混沌奔波不止，他們步履蹣跚不明方向，仿佛站在世界盡頭的懸崖邊上。
Then they cry unto the Lord in their trouble, and he bringeth them out of their distresses.
他們向耶和華哭訴苦難，你引導他們走出絕望。
He maketh the storm a calm, so that the waves thereof are still.
你使風暴平息，波濤不再涌翻，萬籟俱靜。
Then are they glad because they be quiet; so he bringeth them unto their desired haven.
暴風雨停息了，孩子們在歡笑，上帝照亮了他們夢中的天堂。
Oh that men would praise the Lord for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!
哦，人們將贊嘆上帝的慈善，你運籌帷幄以拯救迷途的羔羊。
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
耶和華啊，你是我的牧羊人，須臾不能缺少。
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures; he leadeth me beside the still waters.
你吩咐我臥躺在綠色的牧場上；你指引我走向靜穆的溪流，
He restoreth my soul; he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
你讓我的靈魂得以復蘇；為了你的名譽，你帶著我走向公平正義的道路。
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil;
誠然，我走在死亡陰影籠罩下的山谷，但我決不懼怕魔鬼，
for thou art with me: thy rod and thy staff, they comfort me.
因為上帝之光與我同在，還有你的威嚴和信仰，給我安慰。
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies; thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
耶和華神，你在我的面前鋪好臺桌，我的敵人與我對視相望。你將圣油涂抹摩挲在我的頭頂，圣杯悄然漫溢。
Surely, goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
是的，良知和憐憫將伴我走過一生；我將在你的宮殿生活，直到永遠。
