The three little pigs
三只小豬
Once upon a time,
很久以前，
there were three little pigs,
有三只小豬，
named Pete, Pat and Paul.
分別叫皮特，帕特和保羅。
They were brothers.
他們是兄弟。
One day, they left their mother's house.
一天，他們離開他們媽媽的房子。
The winter was coming.
冬天就要到了。
They wanted to build a new house.
他們想建造一個新房子。
One day, Pete met a man. He had straw to sell.
有一天，皮特遇見一個男人。他要賣稻草。
Can I please buy your straw?
請問我能買你的稻草嗎？
Sure. What for?
當然可以。為了什么呢？
I am going to build a house with it.
我打算用它來建造房子。
Straw is not strong.
稻草不結實。
That's OK. I need a house before winter.
沒事，我在冬天來臨之前需要建好房子。
So Pete build his house of straw.
于是皮特用稻草建造了他的房子
The next day, Pat met a man.
第二天，帕特遇見一個男人。
He sold sticks.
他在賣木棍。
Can I please buy your sticks?
請問我能買你的木棍嗎？
Sure. What for?
當然可以。為了什么呢？
I am going to build a house with them.
我打算用它們來建造房子。
Sticks are not strong.
木棍不結實。
That's OK. I need a house before winter.
沒事，我在冬天來臨之前需要建好房子。
So Pat built his house of sticks.
于是帕特用木棍建造了他的房子。
Then Paul met a man. He sold bricks.
然后保羅遇見一個男人。他在賣磚塊。
Can I please buy your bricks?

Sure. What for?

I am going to build a house with them.

Great! Bricks are very strong.

It is hard work to build a house of bricks.

Bricks are heavier than straw and sticks.

The man sold Paul the bricks.

Paul built his house of bricks.

Pat built his house of sticks.

Then one day,

a hungry wolf came out of the woods.

He went to the first house.

It was Pete's house, made of straw.

Little Pig, Little Pig, let me in!

No way! No way!

Not by the hair on my chin.
別想進來。
Then I will blow your house down.
那我就把你的房子吹倒！
The wolf blew the straw house down.
餓狼把稻草房吹倒了。
Pete ran to Pat's house.
皮特跑向帕特的房子。
The wolf went to the second house.
餓狼沖向第二個房子。
It was the house made of sticks.
那是用木棍建造的房子。
Little Pig, Little Pig, let me in!
小豬，小豬，讓我進去！
No way! No way!
不可能！不可能！
Not by the hair on my chin.
別想進來。
Then I will blow your house down.
那我就把你的房子吹倒！
The wolf blew the stick house down.
餓狼把木棍房吹倒了。
Pete and Pat ran to Paul's house.
皮特和帕特跑向保羅的房子。
So the wolf went to the brick house.
于是餓狼沖向磚塊房。
Little Pig, Little Pig, let me in!
小豬，小豬，讓我進去！
No way! No way!
不可能！不可能！
Not by the hair on my chin.
別想進來。
Then I will blow your house down.
那我就把你的房子吹倒！
The wolf blew and blew.
餓狼不停地吹呀吹。
The house would not come down.

the wolf climbed on the top of the house.
