One day Nat and I sat on the high hill by the sea, where the tall lighthouse stands.
一天，奈特和我坐在海邊的高山上，高高的燈塔立在那里。
We could look far out, and could see the ships at sea.
我們可以看到很遠的地方，可以看見海里的船。
As we sat there, we saw a man near by, with some sheep and lambs.
我們坐在那里，看到旁邊有個人，還有一群綿羊和山羊。
The man had a pipe in his mouth. He sat with us, and let the sheep eat the grass.
這個人的嘴里叼著一只煙斗。他和我們坐在一起，讓綿羊吃草。
What fun it is to see lambs play! It made us laugh to see them.
看著山羊玩耍多有意思呀！我們笑著觀看它們。
The man said that once, when the sheep and lambs were out in the snow, an old wolf took one of the lambs, and ran off with it.
這個人說，當綿羊和山羊在雪地里被放養時，曾經有只狼抓到了一只山羊，然后叼著它跑掉了。
I think that men should watch their sheep, so that a wolf can not catch them.
我覺得這個人應該看護好他的綿羊，這樣狼就抓不到羊了。
