[14] Cancer comes from Latin cancer, which meant literally ‘crab’. It was a translation of Greek karkínos ‘crab’, which, together with its derivative karkínōma (source of English carcinoma [18]) was, according to the ancient Greek physician Galen, applied to tumours on account of the crablike pattern formed by the distended blood vessels around the affected part。
古希臘醫生希波克拉底和蓋倫都已經注意過,某些腫瘤因為形狀較大并且主要是因為腫瘤中的肉和血管等的膨脹和扭曲很像“橫行”的螃蟹,所以把腫瘤叫做cancer,意思就是“像螃蟹一樣”。

撒旦(Satan),圣經中的惡魔(或稱魔鬼撒旦),反叛耶和華的墮落天使(Fallen Angels)。他曾經是上帝座前的六翼天使,負責在人間放置誘惑,后來他墮落成為魔鬼,被看作與光明力量相對的邪惡、黑暗之源。
