1.receive與accept的區(qū)別：

receive意為“收到”，表示客觀的，accept意為“接受”，表示主觀的。

當(dāng)accept a gift時，表示接受了禮物，不會再退回，而receive a gift時，只是收到了禮物，可能還會退回。

2.receive只是一時的動作，因此不能說I have received your letter 3 days.應(yīng)該改為It is 3 days since I received your letter；

3.receive from/of的意思是“從某處或某人那收到（款項）”，如received from/of Sam seven pounds；

4.在英美英語中回信中的第一句話，通常是Your letter of ... received，常省略is，has been。
