would prefer 寧愿，更愿意要……，后接名詞或代詞，如：

您喜歡哪一種口味的，草莓味還是香草味？

would rather 寧愿做某事，后接省to的不定式，即動詞原形，如果有比較，就用than，即：would rather do ... than do...，如：
I'd rather stay here.
I'd rahter not say.
I'd rather die than go with you.
would rather 如果接句子，屬于虛擬語氣，從句一般用一般過去式，如：
I would rather you didn't go there alone. 我寧愿你別自己去那兒。
