valet: 原本是仆人的意思，這里是指那些幫忙停車的侍者。另外注意一下that's what the…for這樣的用法，表示“ ……就是用來干……的”
hit someone up: to ask someone for a loan of money or for some other favor

hang up the phone: （沒等對方說完就）掛電話
bad cop: 中文說的紅臉白臉，英文就是good cop, bad cop

take off: 離開，離家出走。口語里take off通常就是leave的意思，而不是起飛，而且通常用進行時I'm taking off.(我要走了，我要離開了，我要出發了)
split up: 分手，break up
expulsion: 開除，更加口語的說法是get kicked out of school
suspension: 留校看察

Blair: So it's a war of attrition.
Serena: So to speak.

war of attrition: 消耗戰，發生在以色列和埃及之間的一場戰爭（感興趣的可以搜索“消耗戰 1868年”），用在這里是形容S和她媽媽之間的母女之戰。
so to speak: 可以這么說
penthouse: 頂樓的豪華公寓
behind bars: 蹲監獄，bar本意是柵欄，在柵欄后面(behind bars)，當然就是蹲監獄的意思了。
