Students majoring in primary care can hardly pay off the loans and they are often low paid when they become primary care doctors.

A national program can help to compensate their loan. According to the policy, after their graduation, students are required to the remote area to practice. And such experiences can be used to cover loans. What’s more, by doing so, some students are lucky to gain scholarship.

The government will cultivate advanced degree nurses who are able to share some of the workload of the primary care doctors, such as the jobs related to prescription medications and caring.

Uneven assigning the recourses results in uneven distribution of opportunities to get trained. And the government has realized this problem and will take actions to reassign the resources every three years among different hospitals.

  The reading and listening discuss about the reductionof primary care doctors. The passage mentions three reasons to explain the reductionof the primary care doctors. Whereas, the professor totally refutes the three pointspresented in the passage.  Sample answer:

  Firstly, theprofessor rebuts the reading’s idea that students majoring in primary care canhardly pay off the loans and are often low paid when they become primary caredoctors. The professor claims that a national program can help to compensatetheir loan. According to the policy, after graduation, students can apply forgoing to the remote area to practice. And such experiences can be used to coverloans. What’s more, by doing so, some students are lucky to gain scholarship.

  Secondly, theprofessor contradicts reading’s statement that primary care doctors tend tosuffer from high stress and heavy workload. The professor mentions that the governmentwill cultivate advanced degree nurses who are able to share some of the workloadof the primary care doctors, such as the jobs related to prescriptionmedications and caring.

  At last, thepassage states that opportunities to get training are not even. However, theprofessor explains that uneven assigning the recourses results in uneven distributionof opportunities to get trained. And the government has realized this problemand will take actions to reassign the resources every three years among differenthospitals.

利弊類的題目解題的方式是做利弊分析。學生根據自己的個性選擇閱讀的題材,和老師安排閱讀的任務,到底哪個更為重要呢?


如果傾向于學生自己安排閱讀的內容,可以說說這樣可以激發學生的閱讀興趣,學生能夠吸收得更好,對于學生未來得發展也更好;


如果選擇老師來安排閱讀的任務,可以說的理由如:為課程內容服務,老師可以把控閱讀的內容,避免學生看一些poorly written, intellectually undemanding的素材,同時有些素材可能對于學生的心智發展不利的。

Reason 1: 激發學生閱讀的欲望。(stimulate their reading interests)

其實無論是老師布置閱讀任務還是讓學生們自由選擇閱讀的內容,都是出于一個目的,就是培養孩子們閱讀的習慣,讓他們能夠多讀書。所以就這個目的而言,讓學生們自由選擇效果會更好。因為有時老師布置的閱讀內容未必是學生感興趣的,這樣完成的效果也不會很好,也就激發不了學生的閱讀欲望了。


Reason2.挖掘學生的興趣愛好,讓學生更了解自己,為未來的職業奠定基礎。

有一句話叫做you are what you read.也就是說一個人閱讀的內容可以體現出她的興趣愛好,她的價值觀等。讓學生自己選擇閱讀的內容,可以讓學生更好的了解自己,為未來的發展做好準備。例如一個小男孩他從小就喜歡科幻類的題材,那么在選擇閱讀內容時,也會選擇這類題材,慢慢地他可以成為這塊領域的expert, 在未來發展時也會更加目標明確。


Reason3讓步段。老師適當地布置reading assignment是重要且必要的,因為有些專業書籍如果老師不指定,可能學生就不會去閱讀。但是總的來說,學生自由閱讀也非常重要,甚至于更重要。例如當我回憶以前學過的知識點時,可能老師讓我閱讀的那些內容我差不多都忘了,但是自己感興趣買來的小說、雜志里邊的內容還依然記著。


所以總的來說,Students do reading by their own personality is of vital importance.
