appear on the stage as:扮演……角色

waitor：男服務員；waitress：女服務員
prince：王子；princess：公主

doctor：男醫生；woman doctor:女醫生

☆take part in,join,attend（參加）的區別：

join: join sb/sth 參加了某一種團體
join the army:參軍
join the party:入黨
join us:（口語）加入我們中來

take part in:參加某一種活動
take part in the race:參加比賽
take part in a play
take part in the party

attend;出席
attend meeting;參加會議，出席會議
attend the party:出席宴會
attend class:上課

☆in（介詞）+顏色、衣服：穿著……衣服
用介詞短語取代動詞，避免了一句話中出現兩個動詞的尷尬

☆ever=at any time:任何時候（時間副詞）

☆grow up:（人）成長
grown up:（形容詞短語）成年人

must的用法；
must+原形
1.=have to 不得不，必須
2.（對現在的）推測
have to可以被have got to取代
在過去時的句子中，要用have to來表示“必須”
must只有兩種時態：現在時，將來時
have to可以有任意時態
have to作為實義動詞，否定式為：don't have to,will not have to,didn't have to
對現在的推測：must do;對過去的推測：must have done

1.介詞，“作為” As a young girl...
2.代詞，“正如” As I learned,...
3.連詞，=because As I am busy...
4.連詞，=when，“當……時” As I was leaving the house,...
5.方式狀語從句的引導詞 Do as you are told.

dress:裙子，晚禮服，連衣裙（女式）
suit：套裝（男式）
costume：演出服，民族服裝，某一年代的服裝
