對于經(jīng)歷過SAT ESSAY 的同學(xué)來說，大家都知道，在SAT ESSAY 的組織過程中需要用到一定的例子來支持作者所持有的觀點(diǎn)。但是，什么樣的例子才能最貼切最適合地幫助我們來論證觀點(diǎn)？什么樣的例子最好用？怎么樣去用例子才能達(dá)到我們的目的？今天，我們就一起來討論一下SAT ESSAY 中關(guān)于例子的使用方法.
首先，我們來看一個題目：

我們來分析一下這個題目：

通過這個簡單的關(guān)系圖，我們可以清楚的看到題目中 knowledge 和 people 以及 human society 之間的關(guān)系，對于SAT ESSAY，給出的 Assignment 都是在社會中有過普遍討論的，因此，題目具有爭議性。也就是說，從題目中指出的兩個方面我們都可以進(jìn)行組織和論述：

àIsaac Newton: the cats’ holes story
There was a time one of Newton’s friends went to visit him, he saw two holes on the wall of Newton’s house, and then he asked for the reason Isaac opened two different holes, one was big, and the other was small. The explanation was: the bigger one was designed for my big cat, and the small one was for the little catty. Then his friend asked, why could not the small cat go through the big hole? Isaac Newton was one of the elites who owned loads of knowledge. However, knowledge became a burden to him at that time.
àAlbert Einstein: the suggestion of nuclear weapon
When the famous thesis was printed by Einstein on “the Theory of Relativity”, the applying of nuclear power seemed to be already. In this paper, Albert pointed out an equation---the Mass-Energy Equation---which could apparently tell people how to utilize the potential energy involved in single atom. The World War II broke out at the same time, Japan, one of the alliances of German, assaulted the Pearl Harbor which led to the Pacific Battle. In order to force Japan back out, Einstein suggested President Roosevelt to use nuclear weapon. Consequently, Japan became the only country in the world which suffered the pain of nuclear weapon. Einstein kept feeling guilty after that because his knowledge killed thousands of people.

Isaac Newton would not believe that the knowledge he mastered would change the world of human so dramatically. The creations of human beings after Newton helped people to build a new kind of life. Space exploration, construction of cities, and even those motorcars which could be the sign of “modern civilization” were based on the contribution of Isaac Newton---“Calculus” and “Newton’s rules of motion” and “Newton’s Science World”.
其中涉及到了部分例子的選擇和使用，大家可以看到，對于這樣的題目，我們在選擇一些熟悉例子（比如愛因斯坦、牛頓等）可以考慮使用這樣例子中不經(jīng)常被人們提到，但是非常適合我們文章討論的地方，比如文中使用了牛頓的“貓洞”故事。
其實(shí)，我們可以看到，任何一個SAT ESSAY 的題目都和“人”有關(guān)系，人可以被從兩個方面進(jìn)行描述：inner：人們的內(nèi)心世界，或者叫做 people's psychological behavior（人們的心理表現(xiàn)）和 outer：人們所處的環(huán)境 （circumstance）。因此，當(dāng)我們看到題目的時候，我們認(rèn)為 inner 可以戰(zhàn)勝 outer，我們就會認(rèn)為一個方面好寫一些，反之，另一個方面好寫一些。

既然SAT ESSAY 所有的題目都有這樣一個共同的特點(diǎn)，那么也就意味著SAT ESSAY 在組織的過程中也可以使用一些共通的例子來論證我們的觀點(diǎn)：
