Another day, another scandal for Justin Bieber.
又是一則關(guān)于賈斯汀比伯的丑聞。
This time, the pop star is under fire for telling a racist joke in video footage that was recorded several years ago but only surfaced on Sunday, June 1.
這一次，這位流行歌手因?yàn)橐欢畏N族歧視的玩笑視頻片段而備受指責(zé)。這段視頻是在幾年前錄的，但在六月一號(hào)才曝光。
In the clip, which was posted on the pay site for U.K.newspaper The Sun as well as on TMZ, a young Justin can be seen and heard asking, "Why are black people afraid of chain saws?" He then delivers a tasteless punchline, saying, "run" followed by his repeated use of the N-word.
這段視頻被放到了英國(guó)太陽(yáng)報(bào)和TMZ的網(wǎng)站上，當(dāng)時(shí)稚嫩的賈斯汀在影片中問(wèn)：“為什么黑人怕電鋸？”隨后以音同電鋸運(yùn)轉(zhuǎn)聲的歧視黑人字眼，搞笑高呼“Run! Nigger…(快跑，黑鬼)”。
TMZ reports that it received the footage four years ago but didn't post it at the time since the pop star was just 15 "and immediately told his friends what he did was stupid," the site writes.

Hours after the footage emerged, Bieber issued an apology via TMZ. "As a kid, I didn't understand the power of certain words and how they can hurt. I thought it was ok to repeat hurtful words and jokes, but didn't realize at the time that it wasn't funny and that in fact my actions were continuing the ignorance," he said.
影片曝光幾個(gè)小時(shí)后，比伯通過(guò)TMZ發(fā)表了道歉聲明：“作為一個(gè)年輕人，我不知道某些話語(yǔ)的力量及傷害性，我以為重復(fù)說(shuō)、或用來(lái)開玩笑不會(huì)有問(wèn)題，其實(shí)是因?yàn)楫?dāng)時(shí)的我很無(wú)知?！?/div>
"Thanks to friends and family I learned from my mistakes and grew up and apologized for those wrongs. Now that these mistakes from the past have become public I need to apologize again to all those I have offended."
“感謝我的朋友和家庭，我從所犯的錯(cuò)誤中學(xué)習(xí)到了很多，也成長(zhǎng)了，我為這些錯(cuò)誤道歉。既然現(xiàn)在這些過(guò)去犯下的錯(cuò)誤被公布，我就有必要對(duì)所有我冒犯到的人道歉。”
