A super moon hangs in the sky over Daqing City, northeast China's Heilongjiang Province on June 23, 2013. A "super moon" also known as a "perigee moon." It happens when the moon will reach its perigee or closest point to Earth. Scientists say this year the moon looks 14 percent larger and 30 percent brighter than usual and come within 222,000 miles of Earth.
