According to The Sun, Michelle Obama requested DVDs of the third season — which has already concluded in the U.K. but doesn’t premiere in the U.S. — and her wish was granted.
據英國《太陽報》消息，美國第一夫人米歇爾•奧巴馬向英國電視臺主管索要該劇第三季的DVD版，該季已經在英國播放結束了，但還沒在美國首映；而且她的愿望實現了。
“They were very polite and we were more than happy to sort out some DVDs to send over,” an ITV source told the tabloid.

The network’s decision to send the DVDs abroad could have something to do with the fact that Mrs. Obama has made her love of the series known and even invited the show’s stars Hugh Bonneville and Elizabeth McGovern to the White House.
