Todd: So after Laos, where did you go?
托德：離開老撾以后，你去了哪里？
Abidemi: After Laos, I flew to Vietnam. And actually I took the bus into Vietnam.
阿比德米：我從老撾坐飛機去了越南。實際上我是坐巴士去的越南。
Todd: OK.
托德：好。
Abidemi: Yes. And in Vietnam, I traveled from the north, from Hanoi, to Ho Chi Minh City. But because my time was so short, I could only spend one or two days in each city.
阿比德米：我從越南北部的河內(nèi)開始游玩，然后一路南下，最后去了胡志明市。因為我的時間有限，所以每個城市我只待了一兩天。
Todd: Ah! What city did you like the most?
托德：啊！你最喜歡哪個城市？
Abidemi: I think I prefer Hanoi the most. The food, the street food is amazing. It's a very lively city, lots of motorcycles and traffic so it reminded me of Nigeria where I was born a little bit.
阿比德米：我想我最喜歡河內(nèi)。那里的食物，尤其是街頭美食非常棒。河內(nèi)是一個非常有活力的城市，馬路上有許多摩托車，那里的交通讓我想起來了我出生的尼日利亞。
Todd: Oh cool!
托德：哦，真酷！
Abidemi: Yes.
阿比德米：對。
Todd: And what did you do in Vietnam?
托德：你在越南做了什么？
Abidemi: I spent time in Hanoi. I also went to visit Sapa, which has a lot of rice terraces. So these are mountains where they've planted rice fields. So the scenery, the view is really beautiful. And you also get to meet the native people, the local people there. So I enjoyed it. And then from there I went to Hoi An, which is a very historical city, very beautiful night scenery by the river. And then I went to Ho Chi Minh City but I could only spend one night there before leaving for Myanmar.
阿比德米：我在河內(nèi)度過了美好的時光。我還去了沙壩，那里有大片的水稻梯田。梯田是丘陵山地，他們在那里種植水稻。景色非常美。在那里還可以認識當?shù)厝恕Ｎ液芟矚g這點。然后我從沙壩去了會安，會安是歷史名城，河邊的夜景非常美。之后我去了胡志明市，不過我只在那里住了一晚，然后我就去緬甸了。
Todd: OK. And then, how was Myanmar? What did you do there?
托德：緬甸怎么樣？你在緬甸做了什么？
Abidemi: Myanmar was my last stop. And I didn't have so much time there but I managed to go—but I managed to visit some of the places I really wanted to see like Yangon, Bagan, and Mandalay. I would say that Bagan was the highlight. They had many temples from the past and just seeing that many of them, it was very impressive.
阿比德米：緬甸是我這次旅行的最后一站。我沒有太多時間，不過我還是去了緬甸，我游覽了幾個地方，我非常想去仰光、蒲甘和曼德勒。我要說，蒲甘是個很棒的地方。那里有許多古寺，令人印象深刻。
Todd: That's fantastic.

Abidemi: Yes.

Todd: So what country was your favorite?
托德：那你最喜歡哪個國家？
Abidemi: It's hard to say. They each have their own good points but I think I would definitely like to visit Thailand again.
阿比德米：很難選擇。每個國家都有特點，不過我很想再去一次泰國。
Todd: Oh OK. Thailand is such a great place. Anyway, thanks Abidemi.
