今天，公安部召開(kāi)新聞發(fā)布會(huì)，通報(bào)“獵狐2014”專項(xiàng)行動(dòng)的相關(guān)情況。公安部黨委委員、部長(zhǎng)助理孟慶豐介紹，截止12月31日，專項(xiàng)行動(dòng)共抓獲外逃經(jīng)濟(jì)犯罪人員680名，其中，緝捕歸案290名，投案自首390名。

At least 680 economic fugitives have been nabbed from 69 countries and regions since a crackdown was launched in July on suspects fleeing overseas, said the Ministry of Public Security at a news conference on Thursday.
公安部周四召開(kāi)新聞發(fā)布會(huì)表示，自2014年7月啟動(dòng)打擊逃亡海外嫌疑人的行動(dòng)以來(lái)，至少?gòu)?9個(gè)國(guó)家抓獲了外逃經(jīng)濟(jì)犯罪人員680名。

economic fugitives是外逃經(jīng)濟(jì)犯罪人員；suspects fleeing overseas是逃亡海外的嫌疑人。
截止12月31日，專項(xiàng)行動(dòng)共抓獲外逃經(jīng)濟(jì)犯罪人員680名，相當(dāng)于2013年全年抓獲總數(shù)的4.5倍。其中涉嫌金融犯罪（financial crimes）的74名嫌疑人涉案過(guò)億，390名嫌疑人投案自首（confess their crime）。
去年7月，中國(guó)啟動(dòng)“獵狐2014（Fox Hunt 2014）”專項(xiàng)行動(dòng)（operation），針對(duì)目標(biāo)為那些逃往海外（flee the country）的腐敗官員（corrupt officials）和經(jīng)濟(jì)犯罪嫌疑人（suspects of economic crimes）。目標(biāo)是堵住貪官的最后退路（block the last route of retreat），限制濫用權(quán)力（abuse of power）的空間。
中國(guó)已與63個(gè)國(guó)家締結(jié)司法協(xié)助（judicial assistance）、引渡（extradition）和移管被判刑人（transferring of convicted persons）等條約。
