Why Are Some Hairs White?
為什么一些頭發(fā)是白色的？
One day, a little girl is sitting and watching her mother wash the dishes in the kitchen.
一天，一個小姑娘正站在廚房里看著媽媽洗碗碟。
She suddenly notices that her mother has several strands of white hair sticking out in contrast to her brunette hair.
她突然注意到媽媽的一頭黑發(fā)中伸出了幾縷白發(fā)。
She looks at her mother and inquisitively asks, "Why are some of your hairs white, Mom?"
她看著媽媽好奇地問道：“媽媽，為什么你有白頭發(fā)？”
Her mother stroked her hair and replied, "Well, every time that you do something wrong and make me cry or unhappy, one of my hairs turns white."
媽媽摸了摸她的頭發(fā)，答道：“是這樣的，每一次你做了錯事惹我不高興甚至把我氣哭的時候，我的一根頭發(fā)就會變成白色。”
The little girl thought about the revelation for a while and then asked, "Mom, how come all of grandma's hairs are white?"
小姑娘想了一會兒后又問道：“媽媽，姥姥的頭發(fā)是怎么都變白的呢？”
