第一、 核心短語

【核心短語】a runaround

【解詞釋義】runaround這個詞常見于美國俚語，意思是“一連竄的借口”，引申為“繞圈子”，形容某人含糊其辭地答復問題。

【典型范例1】I asked him to lend me some money, but I got nothing except the runaround.

我跟他借錢，他只是拿話搪塞卻分文未借。
