《蜘蛛俠》Spiderman
Chris T. Every film involving a super hero supports the idea heroes are needed in society today. In 2001 the first Spiderman was released to the public. Spiderman, "your regular teenage nerd," after being bitten by a radioactive spider, gains super human powers and commences in protecting his city of Chicago. Almost instantly he becomes a hit, and while he is around, the citizens of Chicago feel safe. As in all actions movies though, the protagonist has to overcome a behemoth of an opponent. When society sees Spiderman fail against his opponent, the green goblin, at first, one and all loses faith and the whole city begins to crumble. Evidently, "Spidey" finds the strength to beat the opponent and the whole city is able to operate again. Heroes are not always of the large scale of Spiderman, some have a more substantial effect on the individual rather than Society as a whole.
