她為什么生氣
A young man was in love with a beautiful girl. One day she said to him, "It is my birthday tomorrow.""Oh," said the young man, "I'll send you roses, on e rose for each year of your life."
一個年輕人愛上了一位美麗的姑娘。一天，姑娘對他說：“明天是我生日。”“噢，”年輕人說，“我要送給你玫瑰花，一朵代表一歲。”
The same evening he went to a florist's. As he knew that the girl was twenty-two years old, he paid for twenty-two roses and asked the florist to send them to the girl the next day.
當天晚上他到花店去了。他知道這姑娘22歲，就付了22朵花的錢，并要花店主人在第二天把花送給那位姑娘。
The florist knew the young man very well as he had often brought flowers in his shop before. When the young man left the shop, the florist thought:
花店主人很了解這年輕人，因為他以前經常在他的花店里買花。年輕人離開花店時，他想：
"This young man is a very good customer. I think that my price was too high. I will send ten more roses."
“這個年輕人是個好主顧。我覺得我的花價太高了。我就多送十朵玫瑰花吧！”
He did so. The next morning thirty-two roses were sent to the girl. When the young man came to see her she didn't want to speak to him. And he never knew why she was so angry with him.
他這么做了。第二天早上，32朵玫瑰花就送到了那位姑娘那里。當年輕人去看她時，她不愿意理他。他怎么也弄不明白，為什么她生他的氣。
