春節(jié)期間，停靠在各大旅游景點的軍牌車和警牌車引發(fā)公眾有關(guān)公用車輛濫用的討論。

春節(jié)期間，有人曝光了部分軍牌豪車（luxury military cars）的車牌號（license plate numbers），其中包括瑪莎拉蒂總裁、奧迪Q7、寶馬X6和幾輛路虎越野車。
駕駛軍用車和政府車輛（government vehicles）辦私事（private use）一直都是公眾關(guān)注的焦點，而許多網(wǎng)民提出質(zhì)疑，為什么這些豪車在春節(jié)（Spring Festival）期間會出現(xiàn)在旅游景點（tourism sites）。
被曝光的軍牌車中，有的后來被證實是假牌照。有網(wǎng)友表示，中央政府應(yīng)下決心整頓（crack down）假軍牌車，它們毀了軍隊的名聲（reputation），為特權(quán)（privilege）和腐敗（corruption）打開了大門。
中央為打擊公車私用（private use of government and military cars），于12月4日提出了（put forward）八項規(guī)定（eight-point code），規(guī)定中表明，購買昂貴的政府車輛也是被禁止的（prohibit）。
相關(guān)專家表示，應(yīng)出臺更具體的措施（concrete measures）來懲罰那些公車私用的人。因為軍車和政府車輛可以免除（exempt from）違反交通規(guī)則（traffic rules violation）的處罰，所以許多司機會制造假軍牌來逃避處罰。
