Unit 2 Stop Thief!
One morning, a girl was waiting at a bus stop. when she saw a robbery.
A shopkeeper was serving a customer. when two men ran into a gold shop.
One of the men had a knife and the other had a gun.
While the man with the gun pointed it at the shopkeeper,
the man with the knife put some rings in a bag.
Then they both ran out of the shop and jumped into a car.
The girl saw the number of the car and wrote it down.
A few minutes later a policeman came to the shop.
While he was questioning the shopkeeper,the girl walked into the shop.
'You can't come in now,'the policeman said to her.
'But I can help you,' the girl said.'
I was waiting for the bus when the robbery happened.'
'What did you see?' the policeman asked her.
'I saw the two men clearly she told him. 'I can describe them.
And I wrote down the number of their car.' 'Well done!' the policeman said.
'You're a very clever girl.'
