Exercise 1.3
Lee Junior High School Safety Rules
All students in this junior high school must
follow the safety rules:
All students must walk on the right-hand
side of the hall.
Students should not sit on the stairs
or block the hallways.
Every class must have at least
one first aid kit.
Students are not allowed to play with the
things inside it.
Students should not bring fireworks,
cigarettes,wine,or drugs to school.
Students must not leave the school during
school hours without reporting to the teacher.
Sharp objects --things like knives, scissors,
or dangerous weapons should not
be brought to school.
When students are having PE class.
they should not keep pens,pencils,
or keys in their pockets.
Emergency rules must be known to all students.
All injuries should be reported to a teacher.
Students are not allowed to ride their bikes
on the school ground.
Roller-skates and skateboards cannot
be used on school ground at anytime.
Students should not talk with strangers
around the school ground.
Exercise 2.2
What to do in case of A FIRE
If there is a fire in the building:
Stay calm.
Leave the building as quickly as possible.
Follow the marked route.
Use a wet towel to cover your nose and mouth.
Don't run. Don't shout.
Don't push people.
Go to the marked area and wait for instructions.
Inform your teacher if anyone is missing.
Follow the instructions of your teachers
and of rescue workers.
Do not return to the building
until you are told to do so.
