A:I want togive our kitchen the works.

地道表達：give somebody/something the works

解詞釋義：give somebody the works表示“給某人吃苦頭，折磨某人，懲罰某人”，也可以表示“殺害某人”，而give something the works則表示“對某物進行全套處理，使某物大為改觀”。
