秘訣48 （4）[s]+[m]輔音連綴
smart 聰明 [s]發音時輕而短促；[m]發音時長而響亮。

1．He's a smart businessman. 他是個精明的商人。
2．The dentist’s drill left his tooth smarting. 牙科醫生把他的牙修理得很漂亮。
3．They were all hungry and the food smelled good. 他們都餓了,因而感到飯菜噴香。
4．It’s a small world. 這世界真小。
特別提示：
發音時：第一個輔音[s]發音必須輕而短促，第二個輔音[m]發音長而響亮，聲音由弱到強；由輕到響；由短到長。中國學生很容易把輔音[s]拉得過長，這是因為沒有掌握好這類輔音連綴的特點。
糾正方法：在摩擦音[s]后面的爆破音[m]應該少送氣。
