Mark Zuckerberg and his wife Priscilla Chan are reportedly putting together a sprawling $270 million Hawaii compound — which covers roughly 1,400 acres and features multiple mansions — in a secret project suggesting the social media mogul is trying to conceal his doomsday preparations.

Connecting the mansions will be a tunnel and a 5,000-square-foot shelter with living space, a library to pass the time, an escape hatch for quick exits and soundproof, bomb shelter-like doors made of metal and concrete. The whole place will be self-sufficient for food and water.
