在英文歌曲里，時常出現與語法不相符的句子和短語。這在歌曲及非正規口語中是允許的。

有這樣的句子和短語出現是為了讓這首歌曲聽起來更連貫、更舒暢、更押韻等。

在這首歌里，It don't matter從語法上講是錯誤的，It后面肯定是接三人稱單數形式。Don't和doesn't的區別就是前者比后者少一個音節。所以作詞者選用了錯誤的語法創造了順暢的音樂。
