shade/ shadow 陰和影的區(qū)別
shade 都是指有東西擋住了太陽光，而形成了一片陰涼的地方。這里不能用 shadow 來替代。
shade 做為名詞時還有一個意思是指燈罩、太陽鏡，墨鏡也可以被稱為 shades（復(fù)數(shù)形式），非常口語化的表達。

② devote oneself to sb (doing sth)
After he graduated he continued to devote himself to research. 畢業(yè)之后他繼續(xù)致力于研究工作。
Better that I devote myself to study...我還不如專心搞研究。（此處study為名詞，表“研究”）
