I just don’t see the point in celebrating birthdays--

people complain about getting older

and yet they celebrate them every year.

It’s not the moment to celebrate,

it’s the moment to look back and be thankful.

I’m thankful that my parents are not that old

and they are healthy;

I’m thankful that I have a great career,

financial security, big house and beautiful wife…

我不明白慶祝生日的意義何在---

人們整天埋怨在變老，

而每年卻還仍要為此慶祝。

對我來說現(xiàn)在不是慶祝的時刻，而是回顧感恩的時刻。

我感謝自己的父母還不算老，身體仍然健康；

我感謝自己擁有不錯的事業(yè)，經(jīng)濟(jì)穩(wěn)定，

有大房子住，還有一個漂亮的妻子……
