My aunt Jennifer is an actress. She must be at least thirty-five years old.In spite of this, she often appears on the stage as a young girl. Jennifer will have to take part in a

new play soon. This time, she will be a girl of seventeen. In the play, she must appear in a bright red dress and long black stockings. Last year, in another play she had to wear short sock and a bright, orange-coloured dress. If anyone ever asks her how old she is,

she always answers, 'Darling, it must be terrible to be grown up!'

備注：基本助動詞3個：do, have, be
備注：情態常見動詞11個：may/might; can/could; will/would; shall/should; must; need; dare。
2)情態動詞功能：表示情態，態度等。不能單獨做謂語，要和動詞搭配做謂語。
3)must 必須／have to 必須
must—（主動）必須；
have to – （被動）不得不
4)must be 表推測，對現在肯定的推測。否定變為can’t be
例：This must be/can’t be Peter’s car. 這個肯定是／不是皮特的車。
5)mustn’t 禁止；
例：You mustn’t smoke here, sir. 先生，這不允許抽煙。
搭配：at least 至少／at most 最多
