ask (sb) what (when) 詢問某人某事
如果要問的事情有點長，就可以用 ask (somebody) +疑問句。以 wh ... 開頭的疑問詞有 what, when, where, who, why 等。
例句：
Can I ask you what happened here?
我能問問你這里發生什么事情了嗎？
She will ask me where it came from.
她會問我這是從哪來的。
People ask me why we're not together.
