Lily：When I was at the orientation, there was this question constantly popping up in my head, I know there are lots of students who probably speak really minimal English, (Alexis: Yup, very true!) Would they understand you?

Alexis:
One reason we use the powerpoint, is to help students who have very low English, we use photos, we use pictures, we use numbers to help with seeing, also what we were saying. And you know, sales offices, before students come here, also know all of this, and I ask them to also communicate with and maybe in their native language, which is very helpful.

And sometimes too, we will have other students, you know, let’s say there’s someone having trouble and I know there’s a C-level student who speaks the same language, and I’ll say, you know what, let me grab so-and-so, and hey, do you mind helping me? We’ll have a conversation where it’ll be translated…also it’s nice to meet someone that speaks the same language, so there’s two things so that’s really good.
有時候我們也會找高級班的學生，我會拜托他們幫我翻譯母語給這些學生，然后他們也有機會認識彼此，這樣可以一石二鳥，真的很棒。
