GIF（動圖）原來不是三個字母分開念！那到底要怎么念？還有其它常見的文件后綴名應該怎么讀？快聽Jenny, Adam告訴你！

1) 首先，native speakers不會把GIF這三個字母分開念。
就像App, 不念a/p/p/, 而是念æp.
2) Native speakers有兩種念法：

ɡɪf

兩種念法都可以，都比三個字母分開念好。
GIF之父怎么說？
Steve Wilhite, the inventor of GIF, declared it should be pronounced “jif,” like the brand of peanut butter, rather than with a hard G sound:
GIF發明者Steve Wilhite說應該念“jif”，不是G的音。（美國有個知名的花生醬品牌就叫Jif)。
順便說一下GIF的全稱：

其它文件后綴怎么念？
File extension: 文件后綴
File format: 文件格式
Image: 圖片
分開按字母念的：
.ai - Adobe Illustrator file
.bmp - Bitmap image，有時也直接說Bitmap
.png - PNG image
.psd - PSD image
連起來念的：
.gif：念dʒɪf，ɡɪf都可以
.jpeg or .jpg: 念dʒepɛɡ
.tif or .tiff : 念tɪf

Spreadsheet: 表格
.xls - Microsoft Excel file
.xlsx - Microsoft Excel Open XML spreadsheet file
注意：口語中，Microsoft Word和Excel一般會用軟件名表達：Word file、Excel file，不是文件后綴。
