Emma: Yes, definitely. I don't want to look bad in a country which is considered as the friendliest in the world.
埃瑪：是啊，絕對需要。我可不想在這個被認為是世界上最友好的國家里讓人笑話。
Vivien: I believe it is easy for us to communicate with them since they would like to open to the outside world and welcome us.
維維安：我覺得既然這個國家的人民愿意開放他們的國家，歡迎我們這些外人，我們應該比較容易和他們進行交流。
Emma: I agree. But we still need to be careful because these people are very conservative.
埃瑪：我也是這么想的。不過我們最好還是小心點，畢竟老撾還是個很保守的國度呢。
Vivine: Right. Some of their customs and politeness are similar with those in other Asian countries.
維維安：你說得對，這里的有些傳統禮節還是跟亞洲其他國家差不多的。
Emma: Yes.
埃瑪：嗯，是的。
Vivien: Such as respect for the senior citizens and being helpful to others. Besides, they are also very curious about us.
維維安：比如尊敬老人和樂于助人。實際上他們對我們也非常好奇。
Emma: Yeah. That makes it possible for us to communicate.
埃瑪：是的，這也為我們互相交流創造了機會。
