我有個朋友訂婚了，我本以為她怎么也要等上幾個月才會辦婚禮。于是問她怎么計劃，我好提前安排時間，請好假，趕去外地參加她的婚禮。結果她一說出婚期，嚇我一跳，原來就是下禮拜! 閃婚啊! 這讓我想到一個習慣用語：around the corner.

Around the corner的意思是“馬上，不久之后”。My friend's wedding isn't months away as I'd thought; it's around the corner! 我朋友的婚禮根本不是像我想的那樣，還有好幾個月才辦，而是沒幾天就要舉行了!
