今天Jenny說說自己學發(fā)音的一些體會和感想。不敢說對所有人都適用，但對于在中國傳統(tǒng)英語教育體制下成長起來的人，還是有借鑒價值的。

一.不要把理論作為切入點
Don't use pronunciation theories as your starting point: 不要把發(fā)音理論作為切入點
While rules and theories are important, do not use them as your starting point because they are very abstract: 雖然理論很重要，但是不適合作為切入點，因為理論太抽象
You need to start with application, i.e. listening to native speaker resources as much as possible to get a sense of how things should sound like in English: 必須從實際口語應(yīng)用出發(fā)，多聽母語資源，樹立對標準發(fā)音的認識

二.樹立切合實際的期望值
Understand that you will never sound entirely like a native speaker: 不要期望自己說英語會跟母語者完全一樣
I used to be very self-conscious of that. I wanted to sound as perfect as possible:我以前特別在意自己的發(fā)音，希望每個詞、每句話都說得完美
But I realized that it was stopping me from using and embracing English: 但后來，發(fā)現(xiàn)這種追求其實妨礙了我使用英語、享受英語
I'm living in peace with the fact that I will never sound like an American: 現(xiàn)在，我明白自己永遠不會說英語跟美國人完全一樣
I'm fine with that. But I do think you should correct some of the most obvious pronunciation mistakes: 但我覺得這沒問題，只是一些特別明顯的發(fā)音錯誤，是需要去改正的

三.積極改正最基本、最明顯的發(fā)音錯誤
Work hard to correct the most glaring, low-level pronunciation mistakes：積極改正最顯眼、最基本的發(fā)音錯誤
Those mistakes can reflect badly on you, damage your professional images: 這些錯誤會讓你顯得很不專業(yè)
They're also the easiet to correct: 它們也是最容易改正的餓

Adding a vowel sound after a consonant: 習慣在輔音后面加元音

二."Th"發(fā)音很詭異

三.無法連讀
Unable to connect words together: 連讀很難
You also need to not see words as individual words, but as word units: 不要把詞看作一個個分開的個體，要把它們看成詞組單元
Do not just try to perfect pronunciation of individual words: 光練習每個詞的發(fā)音沒有用，串起來又不對了
You need to practice the pronunciation of lexical chunks: 一定要練習語塊的發(fā)音
Focus on most commonly phrases: 從最常用的詞組、語塊開始

四.不習慣用縮寫
Try to speak in contractions: 口語里用縮寫
This is a great shortcut to help you sound more fluent and native: 這是個讓你聽起來自然、流利的捷徑
Use common contractions in your everyday speech: 平時說英語，采用最常見、最常用的縮寫
For example: 例如
I will... I'll
I am...I'm
What is...What's

任何承諾一個短期班能解決你發(fā)音問題的，都是賣假藥的！
A short-term course will not fundamentally change your pronunciation: 任何短期的發(fā)音培訓都不會根本改變你的發(fā)音
You need to combine it with an immersive learning environment where you're exposed to English on a daily basis: 一定要結(jié)合日常不斷地接觸英語
Listen, shadow, speak：聽、模仿、說
Make a habit of it: 把它變成你的日常習慣
