大概背景：美國位于北美洲南部，原是印第安納人的聚居地。從15世紀末起，英國移民。17世紀到18世紀前半期，英國在北美大西洋沿岸建立了13個殖民地，1776年7月4日，殖民地代表在費城召開了第二次大陸會議，通過了《獨立宣言》，宣布這13個殖民地獨立，從而美利堅合眾國誕生。
