A:Mr. Smith. I'm wondering whether you have found a way of considering my offer?

B:I certainly have the will but wonder if I've found the way.

A:You see. I made what I consider to be a reasonable offerbased upon the rise in production costs and the continued fall in the exchange rate of Australian Dollar to U. S. Dollar.
A:你知道，我的報價是很合理的，現(xiàn)在生產(chǎn)成本在上漲，澳元與美元的比價在下降呢。
B:Let me say something about the falling Australian Dollar. We're both hurt by the rising U. S. Dollar. We will have to pay more Renminbi for U. S. Dollar to buv wool from you.

A:I understand.
A:我懂。
B:Do you? Then you can see that we have one wish that is to conclude this transaction in a way that will satisfy both sides. What can you do to help?

A:I think the best way I can do is to reduce our price by 200 and I should think we could conciude a deal at $ 98.

B: All right. I accept this reduced offer at $ 98 per metric ton FOB stowed. The other terms and conditions shall remain the same as those in the previous agreement. Now will you draft the agreement or shall?

A: Your legal department is very good at these things. We can trust them with the drafting of the agreement.

B:Ok.Then well bring it over to you tomorrow morning. You'llsign it first,so it win only need my siglnature. Is that agreeable to you?

A:Very agreeable. Mr. Smith. It will only take me a minute to sign it and send it back to you.
