14. Leaving School
離開學(xué)校
A: I have to leave class early tomorrow.
A：我明天不得不早點離開學(xué)校。
B: I don't like that. Just don't come to class.
B：我不喜歡那樣。索性別來上課了。
A: Don't be like that, Professor! I have to attend my mom's funeral.
A：別這樣，教授。我不得不參加我媽媽的葬禮。
B: I'm sorry for your loss.
B：很遺憾你失去了她。
A: It's okay. I'm going to miss her.
A：沒關(guān)系。我要失去她了。
B: I lost my mom when I was in college, too.
B：我也是在大學(xué)期間失去我媽媽的。
A: Saddest thing ever, right?
A：最傷心的事，是嗎？
B: Yes. You know what? Take a week off school.
B：是的。你知道嗎？請了一周的假。
A: I can't do that. I have too many responsibilities.

B: Take my advice.
B：聽我的吧。
A: I'll think about it.
A：我會考慮的。
B: If you ever need to talk, my door is open.
