set about 開始去做（處理）
【講解】
該習(xí)語是一種非正規(guī)的口語表達(dá)方式，它不能用于被動(dòng)語態(tài)，而且set about只能跟名詞或動(dòng)詞的-ing形式。例如：She lit the fire and set about making the soup.（她生了火，開始做湯。）
【對(duì)話】
A:Where's Tom?
A:湯姆去哪了？
B:He set about his homework after school and hasn't finished it yet.
B:放學(xué)后他就開始做作業(yè)了，還沒做完。
A:I don't know why the teacher assigns so much homework!
A:真不明白老師為什么要布置那么多的作業(yè)！
B:That will do him good.
B：都是為他好。
