第32課 辦借書證(2)
The librarian is asking the borrower for proof of local residence.
圖書館員正在向借書者索取當(dāng)?shù)鼐幼∽C明。
L: Do you have a current electricity or gas bill in your name?
圖書館員：您有沒有在您名下的電費(fèi)或天然氣賬單？
B: The phone bill's in my name.
借書者：電話賬單是在我名下。
L: That'll do. Bring the most recent one in with your completed application, and we'll issue you a temporary library card right away.
圖書館員：那就可以。把最近的一張賬單和完整的申請書帶來，我們會馬上發(fā)給您臨時借書證。
B: How long will it take to get the regular one?
借書者：拿到正式的借書證要多久呢？
L: It'll be mailed to you within two weeks, but you can borrow books on the temporary card.
圖書館員：兩周內(nèi)會寄給您，但您可以用臨時借書證借書。
B: Okay. Thanks for your help.
借書者：好的，謝謝您的幫忙。
