Applying for a Scholarship申請獎學金
Applicant: Good morning. sir. Have you received my scholarship application form?
申請者：早上好，先生。您收到我的獎學金申請表了嗎？
Professor: Yes. It reached us this morning.
教授：收到了。今天早晨剛收到的。
Applicant: Marvelous! How does it look? Do you think that I will receive a scholarship?
申請者：太好了！看起來怎么樣？您認為我能申請到獎學金嗎？
Professor: Looking at your application, I'd say you have a better than excellent chance at getting one of our academic
scholarships. But I do want to tell you that our scholarships only cover tuition and living expenses. Travel and entertainment are both things you'll have to cover on your own.
教授：從你的申請來看，我可以說你很有可能申請到我們學院的獎學金。但我要告訴你的是，我們的獎學金只負擔學費和生活費。旅行和消遣的費用得你自己承擔。
Applicant: That shouldn't be a problem for me. I think I can manage travel expenses and any other thing that pops up by myself.
申請者：那對我來說應該不是問題了。我想我自己可以擔負旅行費用和其他突發事件的費用。
Professor: If you need to. you can always get a student loan from the bank. Lots of students go this route.
教授：如果需要的話你還可以到銀行去貸款。很多學生都是這么做的。
Applicant: If things get desperate. I'll certainly call the bank, but not until I need to. Thank you for the suggestion though.
申請者：如果事情變得很壞的話，我肯定會從銀行貸款的，但目前還不需要。但還是要謝謝您的建議。
