At present, more and more people are concerned about weight. I think this phenomenon is a kind of progress, since people care about their health. As we know, putting on weight can increase the chance for us to suffer from some kinds of diseases.
目前，越來(lái)越多的人開(kāi)始關(guān)注自己的體重。我認(rèn)為這種現(xiàn)象的出現(xiàn)意味著一種進(jìn)步，因?yàn)槿藗冮_(kāi)始關(guān)注自己的健康。眾所周知，肥胖會(huì)增加人們患某些疾病的風(fēng)險(xiǎn)。
I think the increased concern for weight is an improvement of our living standard. When we are poor , the most important thing for us is to increase our food rather than to reduce it. Therefore, I think losing weight is a kind of progress.
對(duì)體重問(wèn)題的日益關(guān)注也說(shuō)明了人們生活水平的提高。當(dāng)生活水平較低時(shí)，如何填飽肚子是人們關(guān)注的頭等大事，而非減少食物的攝入量。因此，我認(rèn)為減肥是一種進(jìn)步的表現(xiàn)。

Losing weight should not be encouraged because it can do harm to our health. Now-adays , in order to be slim, many young girls have a fancy for losing weight. They eat little every day, as a result, they can not get enough vitamins and minerals.
減肥對(duì)人們的健康有害因此不應(yīng)該被鼓勵(lì)。如今，為了擁有苗條的身材，許多女孩迷戀上了減肥。她們每天節(jié)食導(dǎo)致身體不能攝入足夠的維生素和礦物質(zhì)。
The fancy for losing weight is misleading to our understanding of beauty. Many people take weight as an important factor to measure if one is beautiful enough. Thus more and more girls are on diet crazily, or even turning to medicine and operations for help.
人們對(duì)減肥的盲目迷誤導(dǎo)了大眾的審美觀?，F(xiàn)在人們已把體重看作衡量一個(gè)人是否美麗的重要因素之一。這使得很多女孩瘋狂節(jié)食，甚至借助藥物和手術(shù)的途徑以達(dá)到減肥的目的。
