車牌----vehicle registration plate

大家好，歡迎來到小強(qiáng)英語。就像人需要身份證一樣，車輛需要車牌來予以識(shí)別。在英語當(dāng)中，車牌正兒八經(jīng)的說法是vehicle registration plate。It is a metal or plastic plate attached to a motor vehicle or trailer for official identification purposes.根據(jù)國(guó)家的不同，車牌有不同的習(xí)慣說法。比如，在美國(guó)，人們一般會(huì)說license plate；而在英國(guó)則是number plate。我們來看一下例句：
