A:Exactly five dollars.

A:Please shave me and cut the boy's hair.

B:Do you want me to cut the bot's hair first,or to shave you first?

A:Oh,shave me.Then i'll go down the road and have a glass of wine while you're cutting the boy's hair.

B:All right.But it won't take long.(He soon finished,and the boy sat down and waited.But half an hour later,the man didn't come back.)

B:It's a pity that your daddy's taking such a long time.Where is he likely to be?

C:I can't guess.And that man isn't my daddy.I've never seen him before in my life.I was playing in the street this moming,and he came up to me and asked me whether I 'd like to have my hair cut without having to pay anything.I said I would,because my hair was rather long,so he brought me here.

Once a little boy went into a barber shop.He was so young that he had no beard.But he asked for a shave.The barber told him to sit down,soaped his face and then left.The boy waited and waited and at last he lose his patience."Well," he shouted,"What are you leaving me here for all this time?"The barber replied,"I'm waiting for your beard to grow."

A:I hope so.I'm really tired of this old-fashioned style that I've been wearing.

B:Would you like me to blow-dry your hair?

A:Yes,if you think it will help.

A:It's great!Will it be hard to care for?

Mark went to a barber's shop and had his hair cut,but when he came out,he was not happy with the result,and when his friend George saw him,he laughed and said,"What happened to your hair,Mark?"

Mark said,"I tried a new barber's shop today,because I wasn't at all satisfied with my old one,but this one seems even worse."

George agreed,"Yes,I think you are right,Mark.Now I'll tell you what to do next time you go to a barber's shop;look at all the barbers' hair ,and then go to the one whose own hair has been cut the worst.""Why?"asked Mark."Because he couldn't cut it himself.Some other barber cut it-and he must have been a worse barber than the one whose hair he cut."
