今天，我們會(huì)學(xué)習(xí)堅(jiān)持某事的英語(yǔ)表達(dá)法，在學(xué)之前，先來(lái)看一個(gè)和堅(jiān)持相關(guān)的詞：stubborn，頑固的；固執(zhí)的

He is a stubborn child. 他是個(gè)固執(zhí)的孩子。

Facts are stubborn. 事實(shí)是不可否認(rèn)的。

Persevere: vi. 堅(jiān)忍，堅(jiān)持一直做某事，不屈不撓，persevere in something/doing something

Although he is in poor health, he still perseveres in his studies. 盡管他身體不好，他仍孜孜不倦地學(xué)習(xí)。

They are determined to persevere in the fighting against corruption. 他們誓將反腐進(jìn)行到底。

那么，Persevere的名詞形式是：perseverance

He's a man having powers of endurance and perseverance. 他是個(gè)有耐力和毅力的人。

下面，我們來(lái)介紹：insist on something/doing something 堅(jiān)持要做某事；強(qiáng)調(diào)某事

He insisted on his demand. 他堅(jiān)持他的要求。

He insists on discipline in the classroom. 他一貫強(qiáng)調(diào)課堂紀(jì)律。

She insisted on leaving at once. 她堅(jiān)持立刻就走。

The teacher insisted on all the homework being handed in on Monday. 老師堅(jiān)持要求所有作業(yè)都要在星期一交上來(lái)。

But for the moment, I'm afraid we must insist on our usual payment terms. 目前，我恐怕還得堅(jiān)持我們慣用的付款方式。
