今天，我們學(xué)學(xué)如何用英語(yǔ)表達(dá)“偶然做了某事”，首先：
Happen to do something 是指偶然做某事
I happened to be out when he called. 他打電話來(lái)時(shí)，我正好外出了。
I happened to have my check-book with me. 我碰巧身上帶了支票薄。

Happen on/upon something 表示偶然發(fā)現(xiàn)某物
I happened on just the thing I'd been looking for. 我偶然發(fā)現(xiàn)了我一直在尋找的東西。

Come across 是指偶然發(fā)現(xiàn)，遇見某人或某物
I came across your job advertisement when I was searching on the internet. 我在網(wǎng)上查東西的時(shí)候偶然看到了你們的招聘信息。
I came across this lost dog in a park. 我偶然在公園里發(fā)現(xiàn)了這只丟失的狗。

Bump into 是指偶然撞見某人，不預(yù)期地碰見某人
I bumped into my primary school teacher the other day. 我前兩天撞見了我的小學(xué)老師。
We bumped into each other when we were shopping in the Trust Mart. 我們倆都在好又多購(gòu)物時(shí)，撞見了彼此。

Accidentally是個(gè)副詞，表示偶然地，意外地， 我們?cè)趧?dòng)詞前面放上這個(gè)副詞，也能表示偶然做某事。
Mom, I accidentally broke the plate, will you forgive me? 媽媽，我不小心打破了盤子，你能原諒我嗎？
Jenny accidentally ruined her prospects.　珍妮意外地毀了自己的前程。
