先回顧一下昨天學到的表達方式
打斷別人或請別人幫忙時，說：Excuse me
自我介紹時，說：My name is…或I am…
表示非常滿意而贊美：terrific wonderful , great,fantastic, marvelous,fabulous
It was nice meeting you =I was a pleasure meeting you. 較為正式的說法是：I’m happy/ glad to have met you . /glad to see /meet you.
感謝別人時，說：I appreciate your help./Thank you for your help./Thank you very much./Thanks a lot.
回答別人道謝時，My pleasure./ Anytime. /It’s a pleasure. /It’s all right. /You’re welcome. /Don’t mention it. /Not at all

(1)Can you help me?
這是請求幫助時說的話。比較委婉的說法“Would you please give me some help?”或者說：“Can you give me a hand?”
(2)Can you tell me how to get to Linden Street, in Riverdale?
請問您可以告訴我怎樣去林登街嗎？
這是問路英語，還可以說：
Can you tell me the way to……
Would you please tell me how should I get to……
(3)Don't worry.The traffic is very heavy at this hour.
表示交通擁擠
其他說法：The traffic is busy at this hour./It's rush hour.
(4)It's six 0'clock.
表示時間的。注意幾個時間的說法：八點半：half past eight 五點五十五：five fifty-five/five minutes to six
八點十五：a quater past eight
(5) I think it looks terrific on you.
夸獎別人穿衣服漂亮。
還可以說：You look beautiful in the sweater.
(6)I really appreciate it，Marilyn.
我實在太感謝你(為我所做的這一切)了，Marilyn。
表示感謝的話：I appreciate your help./Thank you for your help./Thank you very much./Thanks a lot.
(7)Thanks，anyway.
無論如何，我還是要謝謝你。如果別人感覺到沒能幫到你的忙時，可能會表示歉意，但是你無論如何要謝謝人家。
還可以說，Thank you all the time.
