肯定句和否定句

肯定句，顧名思義是表示對事物作出肯定判斷的句子，否定句表示對事物作出否定判斷的句子，例如：

I like the red rose. (肯定的)我喜歡那紅玫瑰。

I don't like the red rose. （否定句）我不喜歡那紅玫瑰。

否定句有以下幾種類型：

（1）一般否定

I don't know. 我不知道。

There is no person in the house. 房里沒人。

（2）部分否定

All the answers are not right. 并非所有答案都對。

Both of them are not right. 并非兩人都對。

（3）全否定

None of my families smokes. 我的家人都不吸煙。

There is nobody. 一個人都沒有。

Neither of you is right. 你們都不對。

（4）半否定句

We seldom/hardly/scarcely/barely hear such fine singing.

我很少聽到這么美妙的歌聲。

I know little English. 我只懂一點兒英語。

I saw few people. 我看到幾個人。

（5）雙重否定

No gain without pains. 沒有付出就沒有收獲。

He was not unable to do the job by himself. 他不能自己做這個工作。
