尊敬的中國文聯李屹副主席，尊敬的東盟基金會執行主任陳伊蓮女士，各位使節、來賓們，
On the occasion of the 65th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China, China Federation of Literary and Arts Circles, the Mission of China to ASEAN and the ASEAN Foundation jointly hold this Photo Exhibition entitled “Dream and Memory-Changes of Chinese People’s Livelihood over the Past 35 Years”. On behalf of the Mission of China to ASEAN, I would like to sincerely congratulate the grand opening of the Exhibition in Indonesia, and warmly welcome the distinguished guests from all walks of life.
在中華人民共和國成立65周年之際，作為中國—東盟文化交流年重要活動之一，中國文聯、中國駐東盟使團和東盟基金會聯合舉辦“夢想·記憶—中國民生35年之變遷”攝影展。我謹代表中國駐東盟使團，向攝影展在印尼隆重開幕表示衷心祝賀，向各界嘉賓表示熱烈歡迎。
35 years ago, China embarked on the historical journey of reform and opening up, which began with rural reform and gradually went deep into various fields including economy, culture, social affairs and etc. It formed and developed a new system that is both in conformity with the national conditions of China and full of vigor and vitality. The reform has liberalized productivity, accommodated the people’s pursuit for better lives, and created the road of socialism with Chinese characteristics. China’s comprehensive national power and the people’s living standards have continuously improved, its social undertakings have developed in an all-round way, and international status has risen noticeably.
35年前，中國開啟了改革開放的歷史征程，以農村改革為先導，逐步深入經濟、文化、社會等各領域，形成和發展了符合當代中國國情、充滿生機和活力的新機制。改革解放了生產力，順應了人民對美好生活的追求，開辟了中國特色的社會主義道路。中國的綜合國力不斷增強，人民生活水平不斷提高，社會事業全面發展，國際地位顯著提高。
As China advances reform and opening up, it continues to adhere to the path of peaceful development and the principles of mutual benefit and win-win cooperation. China has not only obtained development opportunities from its opening up, but also fueled the growth of the world with its own development. In 2013, China contributed nearly 30% of the world’s economic growth and became one of the main engines sustaining the growth. Now China is the largest trading partner of 128 countries, and has become a major force in safeguarding the world peace.
中國在改革開放的同時，繼續堅持走和平發展道路，堅持互利共贏。中國既從對外開放中獲取發展機遇，又以自身發展為世界創造增長動力。2013年，中國對世界經濟增長貢獻率近30%，成為推動世界經濟增長的主要引擎之一。今天的中國，已成為128個國家最大的貿易伙伴，成為維護世界和平的主要力量。
Nevertheless, China still faces many factors constraining its development that need to be addressed through comprehensively deepening reforms. To this end, we initiated five-pillar reform including politics, economy, culture, society and ecological civilization. The Chinese government has assumed its first major task to streamline administration and institute decentralization. Over the past year, more than 600 administrative approvals have been canceled or delegated to the lower levels. Vitalities of enterprises and the market have been unleashed. It has greatly promoted the transformation of government function, economic structure adjustment and brought benefits to the people’s livelihood.
但中國仍面臨許多制約發展的因素，需要通過全面深化改革加以解決。為此，我們啟動了政治、經濟、文化、社會、生態文明五位一體的改革。中國政府將簡政放權作為其中“第一件大事”，過去一年多，已取消和下放行政審批600多項，激發了企業和市場活力，極大促進了政府職能轉變，促進了調結構、惠民生。中國全面深化改革將為世界發展提供更多中國機遇，將為世界和平貢獻更多中國力量。

Today’s Photo Exhibition depicts the dream and memory of the Chinese people over the past 35 years. Let us witness the changes of living conditions, and feel the advancement of Chinese society, progress of people’s livelihood and their pursuit to happiness and peace.
今天的展覽描繪了35年來中國人的夢想和記憶。讓我們通過每個凝固的瞬間，透過普通中國人生活狀態、精神面貌的改變，一起感受中國社會的進步、民生的發展、人民對幸福與和平的追求。
I wish the Exhibition a great success and China-ASEAN relations a brighter future. And I wish everyone presents here today happiness and good health.Thank you all.
